Here at Jurgerson's kennel we breed German Shorthaired Pointers in both black and liver.  We breed for temperment, health drive and conformation, with our main focus being on calm demeanors.  Our pups not only have tremendous drive and natural ability in the field, but also make wonderful family companions due to their calmer nature.  They are still a higher energy dog, and have the stamina desired in the field and are perfect for the foot hunter as they are close ranging.  They are also content curling up at your feet (or on your lap).  Pups have their tail and dew claws removed, go through a worming program, receive their first parvo vaccination at 4 1/2 weeks and first five-way vaccination at 6 1/2 week, are VERY socialized and introduced to pheasant wings around 7 weeks of age and go with a written two year genentic health guarantee.
