The Norrbottenspets is a medium sized hunting dog of Spitz-type, which was thought to be extinct but survived as a farm and hunting dog in the Northern parts of Sweden and Finland. They were first approved by the Swedish Kennel Club in 1910 then thought to be lost due to the two World Wars.
