Becoming a member is always free and easy to do.

Become a Member:

            . Simply click on "Create Account" in the Menu section.

            . Fill out the account registration information.

            . Be sure to enter in all mandatory information for registration.

            . Agree to the terms and conditions and submit the information.

            . Terms and conditions are also available in the menu section.

            . Await for the email to arrive for confirmation.

            . Please Check Your Junk Email Boxes as sometimes confirmations will land there.

            . AOL account users could run into road blocks signing up. Contact administration if this occurs. 

            . Follow the directions in the confirmation email and welcome.

You are now able to select from one of the many listing options within the site.

How To List:

            . Simply log into your account.

            . You will be brought to your welcome page.

            . The welcome page is the heart and soul of your account.

            . To create a listing, simply click on "advertise" on the menu screen on the left.

            . Choose the appropriate listing that you would like to subscribe to.

Not sure what listing to subscribe to?

            . Click on "Directory Home " in the menu option.

            . Then click on "compare memberships" in the menu option.

The Compare Membership section gives you all the options that are available to you when you pick that particular listing option. Choose the option that is best for you and click on "order now" at the bottom of the screen.

Choose a listing:

            .Breeders Listings need to be broken down from alphabetical then breed categories.

            . An example would be Breeders: Dog Breeds "S", then,  Saint Bernard.

            . Rescue Listings are always free, however, they require verification before listing is published.

            . Start filling in your information.

            . Key words will help you with the sites internal search engine.

            . Meta descriptions are key words that will help you with the external search engines.

            . Submit listing for payment.

            . You will receive two confirmation emails.

                        1. For your Listing

                        2. For your payment.

There are three options for payment. Pay Pal is the most secure account available for both parties. We also take all major credit cards through the Pay-Pal server. The credit card server will charge a $1.00 service fee. There is no service fee when using Pay-Pal. Checks can also be sent to Breeders Unlimited if you wish to list and wait for posting.

Manage your listings:

Click on "Listings" in the menu section of your account. This will bring you to an area where you can manage your listings. To the right hand side of the listing section is an area called "Manage". Below the manage section are a number of icons that will help you manage your listing. The icons present depends on what listing you purchased.

View Public Listing:  

            . "Eye" icon which allows you to view your listing as it would appear on the site.

Edit:

            . "Paper and pencil" icon which allows you to edit and/or change your listing.

Images:

            . "Picture" icon which allows  you to add photos to your listings.

            . To add a listing, click in the "images" icon.

            . Click "add image",

            . Enter a title and description,

            . Browse computer for images to upload.

            . Images should be in the area of 200 x 180. Reduce photos to fit.

            . "Submit".

Offers:

            . "Yellow box" icon. Allows you to place special offers to sell your pups or dog related products.

            . To add an offer, click on the offer icon.

            . Click on "add offer"

            . Add title, description, price, photo ( 200 X 180 ), ending date.

            . View Link is where you would like your link to be seen.

            . "Submit".

            . You can always go back into your account and edit your offer.

Pedigrees:

            .Paper icon with a big "R" on it is the pedigree settings for your listings.

            . The amount of pedigrees you can post depends on what listing you purchased.

            . To add a pedigree, click on the pedigree icon.

            . Click on "add document" in the pedigree section.

            . The only pedigrees you can upload will be in PDF, DOC, and TXT files.

            . The most common file would be PDF. Which is used on most Adobe and Microsoft programs.

            . To save in a PDF format, find your pedigree document, click "save as".

            . Under type of document, find and use PDF.

            . You can also print your pedigree to your computer to upload.

            . Select print with.

            . Select printer "Page Manager PDF Writer"

            . Now you can title your document, add some information, and submit.

Classified Ads:

            Posting an ad on Breeders Unlimited Classified section is quite easy to do. You can also post as many animal related ads as the system can hold. Breeders Unlimited Classifieds are a straight link to the specific animals you are selling and an even faster shot to your home web site.

·         Simply become a member of Breeders Unlimited and have an active listing.

·         Upon request, we will build you an account.

·         An email will be sent to you with your account name and password.

·         Change your password to something more desirable when entering your account.

·         Pick "Place Ad", just to the left, when in the classified page and log.

·         Postings will self expire in 30 days.

·         Categories will expand or be deleted upon the number of entries or requests.

·         You now have unlimited access to the classifieds.

The only restrictions that we ask are:

You must be an active “listed” member of Breeders Unlimited.

We can’t post firearms or ammunition on this site.

Canines that are of designer in nature are not to be listed.

Shared accounts will be deleted.  

Banners:

            . Rectangle icon, where you can upload either your photo or company logo.

            . Banners give you a larger area for your kennel or business to be seen.

            . Banners rotate with every click of the mouse.

            . To add a banner, click on the banner icon.

            . Click "add banner"

            .  Browse for your image ( 200 x 180 ).

            . "Submit".

            . You can always go back in and edit your banner.

            . Side banners and bottom banners are available to Members.

            . Top Banners are a "Paid Advertisement" - Ask us for details.

Statistics:

            . Statistic icon shows you all the statistics that have been stored to your listing.

            . Click on the statistic icon to see those statistics.

 

Refer A Friend

Simply put,  refer a person, kennel, or profession to become a member, and that person lists anywhere on the site, (except Rescue and Therapy dogs) and we will extend your listing by two months. 5 referrals and we will post your professional ad banner for 6 months.
