Great dogs, great breeder, 02-26-2011

Review:I lost a much beloved dog last year, and when it was time to fill that empty space, my husband said he wanted a JRT. I told him he was crazy. Fortunately he persisted, and we went to meet this lovely family and their dogs. I don't say "breeder" or "kennel" because this is truly a family operation and a labor of love. The "breeding stock" live in the home and are very much part of the family, and they have great temperaments.
Our litter was raised with attention to every detail for physical health and great socialization. And as prospective owners we received a great deal of good information and coaching, and they are still very available to us when we have quesitions. I am so happy with our puppies (yes we ended up taking home two!) They are delightful. Bright, eager, busy and inquisitive, but they do settle and love a lap or a place by the fireplace.
My vet is impressed with both their physical health and their temperaments, as are the folks at our puppy classes. This is a first rate breeder.

Review:I am lucky enough to have a puppy from this breeder. My puppy came home weaned to a raw diet with the beginnings of clicker training and housetraining already instilled. She has been extensively socialized and has a temperament that impresses me every day. Everyone who meets her, human and canine alike, is utterly charmed and delighted. Many fall deeply in love and ask where they can get a puppy just like her. My immediate answer is, "At Toomevara Terriers!"
The people at Toomevara conduct themselves with unparalleled integrity and professionalism. I can vouch for the fact that raising healthy puppies with sound temperaments is their only concern. They are always available to their puppy families for advice about training, nutrition, and any other questions that may arise. They are also warm, welcoming people who love to talk about their dogs and will gladly show you around their "kennels." (I put kennels in quotation marks because Toomevara doesn't have any... All of the dogs are their beloved pets first and live right in the house with them at all times!)
I look forward to getting another puppy from Toomevara in the future and hope that many more people will discover this gem of a breeder. They are truly a class act - and their terriers are top choices for anyone looking for an excellent companion dog with a heart of gold and a great sense of humor!

Review:I have met two JRT from this breeder and their temperaments have been amazing. Everyone always gives a terrier a bad rap, but her terriers are fantastic. So loving and sweet. Very outgoing and not afraid of anything. I also love her views on vaccines and a healthy nutritional diet. She believes in everything I believe in. If I were to ever enjoy the company of a JRT, I would definitely make the trip to get one from her. Just wonderful.
